Post Rules
Boy do I wish we didn't have to have these! However not everyone has a basic sense of right and wrong so we need to have these keep things neat, safe, and fun! First things first, heres a little disclaimer.

These rules may be changed at any time by any member of The Moderation Team, with or without prior notice. It is your job to read this often. By remaining a member of this forum, you here by agree to follow these rules. While we, The Moderation Team; would like to anticipate everything that could possibly happen, it is simply not possible. If something happens that causes a problems, We Will take action, whether there is a specific rule for it or not.

Here is a list showing the consequence our members can expect, should they receive a warning. Please note that the consequences will get progressively more severe with each warning, as it should be.

First warning, 1st official strike against your account
Second Warning, Rank Removal
Third Warning, 2-3 Day ban
Fourth Warning, One week ban or Moderation
Fifth Warning, 1-2 week ban and Moderation
Sixth+ Warning, possible account termination and or perma banning

Of course, if someone is excessively abusive, we will impose moderation immediately, to avoid subjecting our other members to the abuse.

Rule Twisting is not allowed. I don't care how you read and interpret these. Their meaning is up to the Moderator enforcing them, not you.

Basic Forum Rules
  1. We're all Human, so be respectful of your fellow user.
  2. No Bigotry, Racism, or Sexism.
  3. No Flaming. We all make mistakes, learn from them and forgive those who make them.
  4. No Political, Religious, or other sensitive topics Allowed. EXCEPTION: Debate Club.
  5. Thou Shall Not Use Chat Speak. Use your best English. There is no need to rush your posts, when you make them we will see them, we can not escape them. Also we do have non-English users, so for ease of translation and prevention of confusion please use your best English.
  6. No typing in all caps OR abnormally large text. Its the Internet version of Yelling, so please use your indoor voice. Exceptions may be made.
  7. Like wise, please do not use any shade of red text. It's universally recognized as a warning or important color, lets keep it like that.
  8. Keep it PG13. This is a family site, our language and topics should reflect this. EXCEPTION: Debate Club topics may not be kosher, but the language better be!
  9. Do NOT post or message Personal Information. EXCEPTION: Birthday(Month/Day only), Country/State, and Interests.
  10. No Begging. No fund raisers. You want free stuff, check out the freebie section.
  11. No Spamming! One word posts are NOT okay. If your going to post, contribute to the conversation. Also repeatedly posting the same thing over and over again, in different topics is spamming. This includes over advertising your farm, asking for votes for the Creative Farms contest (and any other contest), etc. Spamming will may result in Warnings, being placed on Moderation, and even Banning depending on the offense.
  12. No Double Posting/BUMPing. Double posting is as follows: Posting a second post with in 24 hours of your previous post, WITHOUT having had someone else post after your first post. Why is this a bad thing? Because you can edit ALL of your previous posts. So do the mods a favor, and just put what your gonna say in your previous post. BUMPing is as follows: Posting a second post, WITHOUT having had someone else post after your first post with the purpose to bring the topic you posted in to the top of the first page. This is never allowed on this forum. EXCEPTION: Creatures For Sale topics & Freebies topics may have multiple additions posted via double post IF new things relevant things are added and 24 hours has gone by, if not, just EDIT. You are allowed ONE thread in these areas.
  13. Thou shalt not preform necromancy. This is the same as bumping, leave old topics alone. Old is defined as over 2 weeks since last post. EXCEPTION: You must post a minimum of 3 on-topic sentience or 1 on-topic paragraph.
  14. No Backseat Modding. If your not a mod do NOT act like one. You may point out rules a user may have broken, but not out right tell them they have broken a rule. I think you may have just broken a rule there, NOT you just double posted, don't do that!
  15. The Moderation Team is NOT your personal army. If you request someone to be warned/banned/deleted YOU will receive that punishment. Your opinion is welcome, but telling us how to do our jobs is rude. You can tell us your opinion by saying 'I think that maybe [user] so and so should be [warned/banned/deleted] for [reason].'
  16. Our Moderators work hard, and disrespect will NOT be tolerated. If you have an issue with a member of our mod team, you may discuss it with them or another admin/mod using PMs.
  17. Only ONE forum account per user is allowed. There is no need for more than one. Opening more than one account will result in one or both accounts being deleted at mod's discretion. Note: opening new forum accounts because you have warning(s) in your current one will only make your situation worse. Warnings are carried over to your new account (pending BOTH your accounts are not deleted, which may happen). Creating multiple accounts to manipulate contests/polls or gain free items is expressly prohibited and will be severely dealt with. (You MAY have more than one farm account).
  18. Do NOT allow anyone to use your forum account. Not only does it create confusion for the rest of the members, you are responsible for any activity involving your account, including warnings or banning that your friend/relative earns while on your account. It is in everybody's best interest if you do not let someone 'borrow' your account.
  19. And Lastly, Have Fun! That IS what we are here for after all!

Post Re: Rules
I want to call attention to the fact that we have edited Rule #11 about spamming. The new rule is above, and as quoted here:
Quote:

This includes over advertising your farm, asking for votes for the Creative Farms contest (and any other contest), etc. Spamming will may result in Warnings, being placed on Moderation, and even Banning depending on the offense.
