Post Twin Eggs?
I bred a group for the first time, and one of the pairs produced twin eggs..
I did not breed them more than once, and I have twin eggs on both accounts the males and females are on.
How common is this? Just an interesting glitch, or a rare game feature?

Look in 02 Farm
Interestingly enough the eggs are all boys. It will be even more interesting how closely their spots match up, especially since the parents are "twins" themselves.. but only F1s...

Sorry, please explain more. Are you saying that for 1 breeding you have 4 eggs, 2 on the male side and 2 on the female side? I am guessing M stands for Male, and F stands for Female. What does C mean? What is -?

On 01 Farm what does F1.F2 mean?
On 01 Farm what does F1.F20 mean?
On 03 Farm what does C.F6 mean?

Its rare but it does happen, I have also over the past few years of playing have been lucky enough to BUY twin pets from the store... sometimes triplets.

Yes, Fran, that is exactly what I am saying. That for one breeding I got four eggs, two on the male account and two on the female account.

These are just my naming to keep track of things, as I'm going experimental breeding
On 01 Farm what does F1.F2 mean?
Frog Generation 1. Female 2
On 01 Farm what does F1.F20 mean?
Frog Generation 1. Female 20
On 03 Farm what does C.F6 mean?
Cub Generation 1. Female 6

They are all siblings from the same pair and numbered in the order they were laid. Their babies will be renamed something like C2.F or M and number, and when the next generation is born they will be C3.F or M and number and so on and so forth.
the dash and number is the female that male is being bred to, so I can find them easily, since I don't pair up names so that they are alike.
So C1.M11-5 is Cub, Generation 1. Male 11 - breed to C1.F5.

I've had it happen when breeding across accounts - Krenko and I once, somehow, received 2 babies each from one breeding.

Just a update, I was clearing some of my old accounts and ran across a set of such triplets. However this has happened to me more than once this is just a example.

And they can be found here for now..http://www.creaturebreeder.com/farm/view/1993609

So those are the triplets you bought from the store? Did you buy the eggs back to back?

Yep they are. =) (Least one set of them anyway) I have also experienced them with the brumble bears and tots if I'm not mistaken I got quads. Most I stored away into cryo-pods hoping to maybe make a sub-breed out of them one day. However I don't think I got anymore than quads though.

Not back to back so to say but back then I used to go a bit crazy with egg buying as I had to stock two accounts. I'd say at this time I probably bought around 20-30 eggs at once.

So lucky!!
I haven't had that happen on my egg buying sprees... I used to buy up top 50 eggs at a time. Once I think I bought almost 100, because I needed cub eggs and I just couldn't get them, and none of them looked at all like twins, no matter what species, lol.

I used to buy 100 eggs at a time every few weeks when I hosted an account that gave away store-bought creatures, but I've never run into something like this. I've actually heard of some creatures breeding twins, but to be actually able to buy a set of twins (much less a set of quadruplets) is really incredible!

Oh yes. :P I think I may pick that back up again soon once I figure out what I'm doing with myself these days.

 I actually thought that was quite common. O_o I'll have to find those other eggs and post examples once they hatch.

I knew this used to be able to happen awhile back, with the odd breeding. But, never store brought! That's so interesting!

Congrats on your twin eggs, LaBella!
